DavosSpringerMike Springer is an experienced educator, entrepreneur, and traveler who is currently getting his MBA at Babson College.

After graduating from Bates College in 2007, Mike spent a year teaching in Spain followed by three years teaching at a public high school north of Boston, MA. Taking an interest in the power that community building had on his students’ success, he took a leave of absence to explore community building at a larger scale. He spent the next three years working for the startup, Social Boston Sports (SBS), helping to plan recreational sport leagues, events, and adventure trips for young professionals. After three years of scaling SBS, Mike decided to pursue his MBA in an effort to combine his education experience with his start-up experience in order to grow his community building skills to empower even larger communities.

While pursuing his MBA, he worked part time for LearnLaunch, an education startup accelerator in Boston to help grow the community of innovators in the education space. He most recently spent the summer of 2015 working for Education First with their Global Engagement and Product Innovation team where assisted in the continued development of EF’s Global Student Leaders Summits.
